One of the most serious spare parts problems is around the wishbone to which the suspension joints are welded. New (i. e. from the Daihatsu dealer) these are NOT available anymore and a remanufacturing would only be interesting from 500 pieces, but there are too few vehicles in Europe...


I left the reworking to the company HUP, they drilled out the old suspension joint, cut a thread into the inside, took a new one made of hardened stainless steel and attached a thread on the outside of this one and then simply screwed it in there and fixed it with a safety screw.

The grease nipple is necessary for the regular supply of fresh grease to the wrist with the grease gun.
