The designation "MK-1" or "MK-2" originates from us, NOT from Daihatsu, in Daihatsu one only speaks generally of the type "G10" is distinguished after the year of construction.

This difference, however, is clearly easier to distinguish by name, which is why we have named it that way.

x) The MK-1 has only one brake line to the rear, MK-2 2 brake lines

x) Air conditioning as an option only for the MK-1 version (in Europe, South America and the Middle East both with air conditioning)

 

x) Wiring harness identical between MK-1 and MK-2 version

x) the MK-2 has larger carburetor main nozzles (more power on MK-2)

x) the manifold of the MK-2 has 2 negative pressure connections instead of 1 on the MK-1
