For most European Charade fans, the G20 is a mystery, an unknown thing you may have heard of but have never seen before, but it's real and real!
The Daihatsu Charade G20 was built especially for the South American market, it was available as MK-1 as well as MK-2.
In detail it is a normal Charade G10 with a special engine which is trimmed to run on ethanol (82 octane).
Engine type: CD
cubic capacity: 843ccm
The CD-Engine was also used in the Daihatsu 850 Truck, but there in a lying position, which is why the oil pan, cylinder head and a few other parts were simply taken over from the CB20.
